The heated indoor pool at Lydstep Beach Village welcomes swimmers of all abilities. Whether you want to swim lengths or splash about with the kids this is the perfect spot. The Aqua Inflatable sessions bring extra excitement with a large floating obstacle course that gets everyone giggling.
Got a head for heights? The climbing wall challenges visitors to scale its surface with expert guidance. Archery coaching sessions teach proper technique so you can fire arrows like Robin Hood. The Football Dartboard is a new addition where you kick footballs at a giant target board. It suits beginners and experienced players alike.
Activitots sessions introduce little ones to sports through throwing catching and balancing games. Older children join Activikids for team activities led by trained activity leaders. Both programmes help develop coordination and confidence through play.
The outdoor play area features climbing frames and swings. Kids burn off energy here while parents watch from nearby seating. Den building activities teach children how to construct their own hideaways using natural materials found around the park.

The Manor House is where everything happens at Lydstep Beach Village. This New England-style clubhouse sits at the heart of the park with wonderful views across the bay. The restaurant serves meals in comfortable surroundings and the terrace outside provides al fresco dining when the weather plays along.
What makes this spot special? Those bay views! You can watch the sun set over the water while enjoying your meal. The terrace has plenty of seating so you can linger over drinks and soak up the coastal atmosphere.
The fish and chip van is a firm favourite with guests. Nothing beats proper chips after a day on the beach. Quick and tasty it hits the spot every time.
The Mini Market stocks everyday essentials for self-catering stays. Pick up breakfast items snacks and ingredients for simple meals. Hot snacks are available too when you need something quick. The shop also sells last-minute souvenirs if you want to take a memento home.
Dogs are welcome in designated areas of the Manor House. So you can enjoy a drink on the terrace without leaving your four-legged companion behind. The bar serves refreshments throughout the day and into the evening when entertainment takes over.
The water-based activities down at the beach are always popular with the children - and are unique to this park. Younger kids can enjoy making sandcastles and having a paddle in the safe, clean waters. There are plenty of activities on the park too at Lydstep Beach. The outdoor play area is fantastic, and the indoor climbing wall is a fun challenge. While one of the main highlights has to be the indoor heated pool complex, the new introduction of the Seaside Squad offers activities centred around the enjoyment of children. The park has also introduced mini sports dedicated to improving the fitness of young people in friendly, new, and exciting such as pool kayaking, mini archery, and mini fencing. Den Building and Bug Hunt also encourage children to work together and use their minds, as well as teaching them all about the creepy crawlys around the area. Who says learning isn’t fun?
Lydstep Beach Village offers three types of accommodation to suit different family sizes and budgets. Caravans provide the classic holiday park experience with modern comforts. These holiday homes come in various grades and many feature stunning bay views. The Bayview caravans are particularly popular. Guests describe them as spacious and spotless with everything needed for a comfortable stay.
Cosy cottages are now available to book at Lydstep Beach. These properties offer a different feel to traditional caravans. They suit families who prefer a more homely base for their Pembrokeshire adventures. The cottages are part of the Celtic Haven resort which has joined the Lydstep Beach family.
Lodges provide a premium experience for those wanting extra space and comfort. These properties work well for larger groups or families who appreciate higher specifications. The 3-night minimum stay makes them ideal for long weekend getaways.
Some accommodation areas are hilly as the park slopes down towards the beach. The Terraces area is suitable for guests with accessibility needs and has parking right outside the holiday homes. Most caravans have step access only so check when booking if this matters to you.
Dog-friendly accommodation is available across the park. One guest praised their caravan's gated balcony which let their Husky wander freely. The woodland setting and nearby beach walks make this a brilliant destination for holidays with pets.
Tenby is just a short drive along the coast and it's absolutely worth the trip. This walled medieval town has pastel-coloured Georgian houses stacked above sandy beaches. The harbour is picture-perfect and the narrow streets are packed with independent shops and cafes. Blue Flag beaches stretch below the town walls.
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path passes right by the park. Walking from Tenby to Lydstep Beach is a favourite route with spectacular clifftop views. National Park Rangers based at the park can point you towards the best trails and answer questions about the local wildlife.
Caldey Island sits just offshore and you can see it from the beach. Monks have lived there since the sixth century and today you can take a boat trip to explore. The island has its own monastery chocolate factory and perfumery. Boats depart from Tenby harbour.
The Dinosaur Park is brilliant for young explorers. Life-sized dinosaur models lurk among the trees and there are play areas and activities throughout. Kids go mad for it! Manor Wildlife Park offers Wales' only walking safari where you can get close to animals from around the world.
Folly Farm combines a zoo with a vintage fairground and farmyard. It's a proper full day out with penguins giraffes and rhinos plus rides and indoor play areas. The whole family will find something to enjoy here.
The beach at Lydstep is accessible directly from the park. Part of it remains dog-friendly even during summer months which is great news for pet owners. The bay is sheltered and scenic with Caldey Island completing the view. Rock pools appear at low tide giving kids hours of exploration. Coastal walks in either direction reveal more hidden coves and dramatic clifftop scenery.
