Edinburgh Zoo
Edinburgh Zoo is the largest and most exciting wildlife attraction in Scotland, committed to the highest standard of animal welfare, conservation and environmental education.
In just one day you can meet over 1000 wonderful animals in a parkland setting on the outskirts of Edinburgh city. As well as the animal attractions you can enjoy a wide range of visitor facilities with daily events and activities.
The Penguin Parade and the Dolphin Feeding are two of the best loved daily events not to mention the feeding of the Chimps. This is a memorable day out for adults and kids of all ages.
East Links Family Park
East Links Family Park is a brilliant day out and there are so many different animals to see. Nature and animal lovers will be in their element at this interesting park. Just some of the residents include cattle, sheep, deer, lama, donkeys pigs and horses. These animals can be viewed close up from the farm walkway which is buggy friendly.
The centre also has indoor play area for toddlers and young children including a bouncy castle, sand pit area and flour milling table.
This is a fantastic place to visit on sunny days when you can make the most of the outdoor activities, Just some of our favourites include the Toboggan Run, a Giant Maze, Pirate Ship, Go-Carts and an Adventure Playground.
The farm has a fantastic new cafe serving home made and nutritious food but you can also take picnic food to enjoy outdoors if you prefer. A barn is provided if the weather is on the unlucky side.
