Winner of the Best Large Attraction at the Tourism in Suffolk Awards 2010 this is a memorable day out for the whole family.  The premise of the attraction is to re-create the African Savannah where animals roam freely together.  Located amidst 100 acres of parkland by the coast you can take a walking family safari and really get up close to the animals.  Unlike traditional zoos you get a real sense of the way these animals live together and you take in the sights, sounds and smells of Africa.  Just some of the exciting animals are giraffes, rhinos, cheetahs, hyenas and hundreds more African animals and birds.

BeWILDerwood is an award winning day out ideal for adventurous and active families.  If you love nature and adventure then this attraction is for you. Just some of the exhilarating activities and features include tree houses, zip wires, jungle bridges, Crocklebogs, Twiggles and Boggles, boat trips and marsh walks.  When it's time to recharge the batteries, there's some delicious food on offer too.  The large range of souveniers mean you can take a piece if BeWILDerwood home with you too!

BeWILDerwood has been described as a "wild and imaginative adventure park with magical tree houses and a hint of intriguing characters".  It's actually the setting for a book  called "A Boggle at BeWILDerwood", by local children's author Tom Blofeld.  We think this is really a family day out with a difference and not to be missed if you're staying at a Haven Park in the area.
