Berwick Holiday Centre

Perched on a clifftop above the North Sea in Northumberland, Berwick Holiday Centre has earned its AA 5 Gold Star rating - and one look at the view tells you why. You're also within walking distance of the historic border town of Berwick-upon-Tweed.

Two sandy beaches lie just below the park, so pack the buckets and spades! Rain or shine, the heated indoor and outdoor pools keep everyone happy and the kids will be straight down the indoor water chute.

Head to the Brigs of Tweed restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner, then round off the evening with entertainment at the ShowBar. By day, try your hand at archery coaching, Junior Segways or NERF Training Camp.

Bamburgh Castle and the Farne Islands - home to famous puffin colonies - make a great day trip and Alnwick Castle isn't far either. Bring the dog too: there are designated areas for them throughout the park.

Haven Accommodation at Berwick Holiday Centre

Berwick Holiday Centre offers caravans and lodges to suit different family sizes and budgets. Saver grade gives you simple, good-value accommodation, while Bronze grade steps up to clean, basic caravans at excellent value - ideal if you plan to spend most of your time out exploring rather than indoors.

Move up to Silver grade and you'll get a decking area with seating and a larger fridge freezer, while Signature caravans come with stunning lakeside or sea views, decking and towels included. Gold grade adds wrap-around decking, a dishwasher and allocated parking and Signature Gold combines those sea or lakeside views with all the Gold features. Bringing the dog? Designated pet-friendly caravans mean your four-legged family member can join in too, with walking areas nearby and access to a dog-friendly beach.

The park layout is worth knowing before you book: some accommodation sits on level ground near the main complex, while other areas - The Glen, The Dunes and The Cheviots - slope down away from it.
