Marton Mere Holiday Park benefits from a fantastic location in one of the UK's holiday hot spots. Just 3 miles from the centre of Blackpool with its tower and theme park, the site is a firm favourite with Haven customers and has recently been greatly improved to offer top of the range facilities and accommodation. Although close to busy Blackpool the park feels very tranquil and has a nature reserve, Park Ranger station and plenty of open space for children to play.

The Central Complex of the park has seen great investment and the improvements are quite spectacular. The heated indoor pool with its water slide and paddling area is popular as ever and now also offers fun inflatable sessions and swimming lessons. 2010 saw the introduction of the very impressive Space Bowl and the arrival of Aqua Gliders, Aqua Jets and even Water Walkerz. Who knew that walking on the water in a giant bubble could be so much fun?
While the indoor pool offers all weather family fun, the outdoor Splashzone is very popular during the summer months. This safe, non slip area feature waterfalls, fountains and water cannons and is a big hit with kids of all ages.
Haven holidays are really all about having a great time and for many families this means having a good choice of activities for all ages. During peak season the budding Renaldo's in the family will just love the Coke FC football coaching. Beginners can learn new skills and experienced players can improve existing ones while having a great time and making new friends. If football is not your thing then you could try the Archery, Fencing, Tennis, Bike Hire or Table Tennis.

At Marton Mere the Nature Reserve is a lovely place for a stroll and children will love spotting the wildlife. Families will also find the Bowlingo, amusements and kart hire very enjoyable.

When it is time to eat the Bar and Grill is the place to be whether you fancy a quick snack or a three course meal. The comprehensive menu offers excellent value and is packed with family favourites. There are also plenty of healthy options on both the main and kid's menus. Marton Mere also has a traditional fish and chips shop which is ideal when you fancy a lazy night in or a late night snack after the show.
Kids Will Love
Children are very well catered for at this amazing holiday park. The fantastic free Mini Sports will give younger kids the chance to try something different and the experienced staff will help to boost their confidence. These activities are for children ages 3-8 and include Mini Archery and Mini Tennis.
The Wake and Shake sessions are also a good way for kids to burn up some energy and include low impact activities such as Frisbee fun and space hoppers along with stretching sessions of agility fun. Wake and Shake is part of Havens Kids Alive Programme which encourage kids to be healthy by getting involved in activities and making healthy choices at meal times from the special children's menus.
Children have a range of clubs to join too including the Little Cubs for those aged 1-4, the Club R&B for kids aged 5-11 and the T-Co Zone for teenagers. Club activities are age appropriate and include circus skills lessons, competitions, crafts and treasure hunts.

There are 5 grades of holiday home to choose from at Marton Mere. The standard models are basic but comfortable and are ideal if value for money is a top priority. Spend just a little more and you could stay in the superior model. These holiday homes are newer and more modern. Deluxe holiday homes are larger at 12ft wide and offer more space as well as upgraded fixtures and fittings.
Prestige holiday homes area minimum of 12ft wide and offer stylish accommodation, contemporary décor, extra heating in the bedrooms and DVD players. The top of the range Platinum holiday homes offer the ultimate in caravan luxury and have open plan living space, larger bedrooms, double glazing, top quality furnishings and priority check in.
